The legacy of Antonio “Tony” Mancuso is that of a man who selflessly
dedicated his life to his family, friends, and to his community.

Soccer was Tony’s passion, spurring him to help found the Caboto Soccer Committee in the early 1980s.

Over four decades, he served in many roles, including president, vice-president, board treasurer and its ombudsman — the role of which was to remind the Committee that serving the Caboto players was its ultimate purpose for being.

Despite his 37-year full-time employment with Chrysler Canada, Tony had generously given of his time to Caboto Soccer. He would cut the grass, paint the lines on the fields, and fix nets whenever necessary. Tony's support of the Club's teams knew no limits!

Beyond soccer, Tony loved making his own homemade salami, prosciuttos, and culatello. He tended his extensive garden, taking joy in sharing its bounty with family and friends. He could not refuse anyone in need.

Tony’s other passion was golf in his Tuesday league at Ambassador. The inaugural Antonio “Tony” Mancuso Memorial Golf Tournament will ensure that Tony’s incredible legacy will never be forgotten.

Tournament proceeds will help fund the Caboto Soccer Scholarship.
